Meet the Owners - Art & Janicé Myers
Nestled in the woods along the McKenzie River in Oregon, lies the future home of Iron Forest Brewing Company. Our affection for this unique and wild place has led us to one conclusion. BEER. And it needs to be....HERE! We look forward to sharing with you our passion for this raw craft.
Many years of recreation in the McKenzie mountains lead him to work for the US Forest Service at the McKenzie Ranger Station. In his free time, Art learned the craftsmanship of brewing which set in motion a dream to one day open a Brewery in the place he treasured. With 20 years of Home Brewing experience, he has refined his recipes to include various styles of craft beer which we are excited to share with you all.
Janicé's love for outdoor adventure drew her to the beautiful McKenzie River where she has enjoyed years of hiking, fishing and hunting. Janicé's experience in hospitality spans over many years such as successfully managing a 5-Star restaurant. Her recent accomplishments include Owner and Operator of an in demand Wedding Venue and a Charcuterie Catering business.
In the wake of the devastating Holiday Farm Fire in 2020 that swept through our rural mountain Community, we are working hard to bring Iron Forest back even bigger and better. With your help we can re-build a place where friends and family can meet over some great food and great beer at our Brewery and Brew Pub.
